-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am most passionate about the image that young people have and how they are portrayed by the media and older generations. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? The biggest issue for young people in my constituency is having no where to go unless it costs lots of money, public transport and being stereotyped by older generations. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? To get my constituents’ voices heard and to gain some very valuable experience, such as developing my listening skills, which will also help me in my future career path. What is your future career ambition? In the future, after completing my education, I would love to study to become a teacher or work in media or even politics as well. Which public figure do you most admire and why? JK Rowling and Stephenie Meyer as they are both incredible writers who have given the world the passion to read again. This is an amazing thing as reading broadens the mind and has been forgotten about over the years due to things such as television. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? As the song goes “We are the youth of today” but we are the future politicians, doctors, teachers and voters too. So in other words we are more important than you give us credit for.
