-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am most passionate about humanitarian crises such as the situations in Gaza and Sri Lanka. I find it horrible that such things can happen in the world when we have so much in the UK. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? In my constituency there is a large problem of young people moving out of the area after they become successful. Because they move they cannot benefit their local community anymore and so their talent is lost. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I hope to help Kaycee as much as possible with all the difficult work she has to do in Newham and also help her with things such as the Young Mayor Network which include out of borough duties. What is your future career ambition? I hope to do a job that helps my local community, say maybe a teacher. Work is important to me but I believe that family and friends are more important in life, and that we should be defined by them not by our occupation. Which public figure do you most admire and why? I most admire Yasser Arafat (even though he is sadly dead). This is because he realised that non-violence is the best way to achieve peace and because he was such an inspiring individual who spent his whole life helping others. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? If I could send one message to the government it would be that I am grateful for the work they are doing to keep the UK such a wonderful place to live. I would tell them to keep up the good work and to say they should get the respect they deserve.
