Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I find politics quite hard to get my head round. The more I look into it and research the subject, the more I find corruption at the very centre. However, I am really interested in proportional representation, in making sure everybody has a say in their community and stake holders within their society. I also believe more power and freedom should be given to the very people who trust the politicians by voting for them.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
Representation and the lack of! Making sure students are recognised as a huge contributor in the community and in more ways than one a benefactor.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I would use my position to lobby MPs about top up fees and green initiatives. Also, I would like to find ways of building confidence in politicians and lobbying MPs to quit if they are found to be distrustful.
What is your future career ambition?
I would like to write a book and enjoy life….
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I don’t feel there is a real politician who represents the true demographic of the country. We need a person who is open and honest and will also challenge their government by listening to their constituency. This is a role I would happily take up. Unfortunately, more power is being emphasised with the “Whip’s”, rather than the general public regarding how they think things will move in the right direction. “1st world democracy” is a farce.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Please, please, please, please listen to the public and act accordingly. Also, fairly spread the wealth of our country in a way that it benefits hard working families who are currently struggling.
