-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? One of the things I am passionate about is the lack of different types of part time jobs, work experience and volunteering opportunities available for teenagers. It is a pain for individuals having to cold call companies and be rejected, as placements don’t exist or are very low in numbers. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? Public transport – the costs and the availability. For youths to have to pay at least £4 for a return ticket travelling between 3 stations is unfair. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I hope to improve communications between the UKYP and youths, as well as getting young people better connected to various opportunities on offer, and to hear more about what we are doing. What is your future career ambition? I would like to pursue a career in Law and become a barrister. Which public figure do you most admire and why? I admire the author of ‘War of the Worlds’, H. G. Wells the most. He was a prophetic writer and was strongly against social injustice. He also wrote about the complacency of humanity in his novels to prompt for a change in the way we live.
