-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am passionate about a number of political issues, however my very passionate ones are recycling (I think that schools should be able to recycle for free), terrorism (how terrorism makes a effect on the Muslim community today), transport (the need for free public transport for young people) and gun and knife crime. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? I would say facilities for young people. A large number of my constituents believe that the admission to facilities should be cheap, especially sports facilities. They would also like to improve the facilities by adding different activities and projects. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I would like to get more young people to recycle and understand the importance of recycling. I would also like to keep in close contact with Government Ministers and local Councillors to come up with strategies to empower young people in decision making. What is your future career ambition? My aim is to become a Government Minister. I would like to attend London School of Economics and Political Science and achieve a degree in Political Science. I would firstly start of as a Councillor for my local area and then build up my career from there. Which public figure do you most admire and why? Nelson Mandela, President Obama and Pervez Musharaff. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? Dear Mr Brown, Firstly I would like to thank you for taking a interest in UKYP, however I would very much appreciate if you could make some little changes. I am aware that we are currently undergoing a global recession, however making small changes like teaching young people in schools the importance of recycling, why you shouldn't carry a knife and simply items that will benefit the young people today.
