Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
The UK education system is outdated and does not cater for a diverse range of learning styles. More and more young people are being failed by the education system every year because they are unable to perform well in exams. However we fail to realise the many other talents these young people and that success can be achieved in many forms.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
It seems that the biggest issue for young people is their safety and well-being. Violence, bullying and racism were amongst the top issues young people felt needed changing in Birmingham.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope that whichever campaign I am apart of goes as far as possible so that our hard work and determination is acknowledged and we make a different to the lives of the young people that elected us.
What is your future career ambition?
My ideal career is to become a doctor as I feel it would enable to do my bit and give something back to society. As well as the fact Dr Manni sounds really cool.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
My Mum! She’s not public but she’s awesome! She has been there for me every step of the way and has given me such amazing opportunities in life. In fact it’s with her support that I am able to do the things I do today, like UKYP.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Do not under estimate the minds of young people! Use our talents, opinions and characteristics to help create a brighter future for the people of the United Kingdom.
