-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? Education. I feel that there are a lot of improvements that need to be made to the education system. I also feel that there are specific sectors of education missing, such as SRE and politics education. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? Again education, because the education system was contracted out and the contract is up for either renewal or cancellation. And the council are just consulting the public about the system. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? Wider publicity of the UKYP aswell as representing the local young people and giving them a voice on local influential boards, for example, I currently represent young people on the local children’s trust board. What is your future career ambition? I want to become a veterinary surgeon. Which public figure do you most admire and why? Stephen Fry, not only because he is a brilliant actor, but because he announced his sexuality in a changing age of television and theatre. Not only that, he also has had difficult times with chronic depression. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? Stop with the stupid party politics. The people voted you in for you to make some change for the people, not to argue which party is better.
